The Music and Serendipity Collection

Vili Nikolov - Music and Serendipity Collection

We are delighted to host our part-commissioned gallery from Vili Nikolov, one of Bulgaria's finest artists working today. The gallery is open to the public during Metronome opening hours.

Vili Nikolov graduated from Sofia Fine Art School with Distinction (highest in the year) followed by five years at the National Academy of Art (Sofia).

His unique contemporary fine art style is highly influenced by his time in Cuenca, Spain inspired by the landscapes and deep, rich colours, particularly the almost surreal red of the soil.

He has exhibited extensively in his home country and widely across Europe, including at the European Parliament (Brussels). Nikolov's collections have been popular in America at the Fine Art Fair, Laguna Beach (California), where he is a member of the Society of Artists St Clemente California. His paintings are in private collections in over 30 countries around the world .

Nikolov mainly creates with oils on canvas, occasionally with acrylics, watercolour gouache as well as new innovative technologies involving metals. Many of the paintings on display were commissioned by Metronome for this gallery.

His abstract approach is endearingly described as 'fairytale surrealism'.
